There are different types of inline skates for different types of skating such as aggressive skating, speed skating, Inline hockey and artistic inline skating. Those differ in the boots, frames and wheels that are used.
Even ordinary roller bladers can pick up quite a few tricks in time. Plain surface bladers can do tricks that may not involve much speed. Here are few tricks for the regular normal roller bladers to try about:
- Doing Waves push your feet outwards and then pull them back in again in a repeated fashion.
- Turning on your skates to change direction by balance with feet wider apart.
- Braking on your skatesbyusing the brake cushion mounted on the lower back of skates.
- Skating on one foot is a good way to increase overall balance and doing more tricks.
- Skating Backwards adds a new dimension to what you can do on your roller blades.
- Doing a circle with one of the skates around to have one foot pointing forwards and the other foot pointing backwards.
- Turning around to go forwards on your skates and to turn around and continue backwards without stopping.
- Doing Slalom on roller blades is great fun. It makes you feel alive. Just wiggle your body from side to side and hopefully your skates will do the same.
- Doing Crossovers by repeatedly crossing your outer foot over your inner foot, to make you go around in wide circle.
